Over the past few days, some of our users have informed us that they have encountered Winsock files.
The Windows Socket API, in addition to the API known as Winsock, is a type of application programming interface (API) used to communicate between Windows network applications and network services. It primarily focuses on the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and originates from the Berkeley Unix socket interface.

Create a new empty project.
Add a source C++ dump file into which the project will be placed.
Make sure your build environment points to the include, lib, and src sites of a Microsoft Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) or earlier Platform Software Development Kit (SDK).
Make sure the new build environment is linked to the Winsock Ws2_32 file.lib. Applications that use Winsock must reference the Ws2_32 the.lib library file. The #pragma leave comments tell the linker that the Ws2_32 .lib file is needed.
Start programming most of the Winsock application. Use the Winsock API via the included Winsock 2 h2 tag files. The Winsock2.h header file created most of the Winsock functions, constructs, and definitions. The Ws2tcpip.h header entry contains definitions introduced in the WinSock 2 Protocol-Specific application for TCP/IP, which includes new functional structures that are also used to obtain IP addresses.
ControlThe captured file Stdio.h is for standard input and output, specifically for the printf() function.
#include #include Comment #pragma(lib, "Ws2_32.lib")interior() go 0;
How do I use Winsock on Windows?

#ifndef WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN# define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN#end if#include
#include #include #include #include Comment #pragma(lib, "Ws2_32.lib")interior() returns 0;
Stdio to.h was used for standard input and standard output, this is the printf() function.
The Iphlpapi.h header archive is required if the application used the IP Helper APIs. If an Iphlpapi.h header file is required, the #include line of the Winsock2.h header file must appear long before the #include line of the Iphlpapi.h header file.
The Winsock2.h header internal report contains the main parts of the Windows.h header file, so the #include line is not normally needed to include the Windows header.h file in winsock applications. If the Windows.h header file requires an #include line, beforeit should be macro #define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN. For historical reasons, Windows uses the the.h header by default with the Winsock.h header file for Windows Sockets 1.1. The WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN macro prevents Winsock.h from being surrounded by Windows.h headers. An illustrative example is shown below.
